WHAT
IS NEW WITH KEVIN COCHRAN?

GREAT NEWS KC FANS!!! After 4 and a half years of waiting, bidding, and negotiations, Kevin Cochran will finally be moving over to the DOT COM side of the world wide web. Although we love DOT NET and won't be changing it, we will now possess www.kevincochran.com as well******** This is tremendous news!!! We've waited since February of 2001 for this moment, and it's finally here. Right now an entire web campaign is being launched on that site, and we hope to re-design an entire new online Kevin Cochran site for both. Now that the hard part is done, we hoped to have that up and running for the summer. Right now you just get re-directed to DOT NET, but we are working on a new page as we speak. Stay current and tell all your friends!! And don't forget to sign up for the Kevin Cochran newsletter!!! |

News from the homefront. Well summer is anxiously approaching and Kevin is busy as ever in Music. Lots more shows to be added for the summer. The most important happening right now is the recording of a 3 song studio demo with the full band. We'll keep you posted on that but it should be out by mid-May. Don't forget to buy a CD or get on iTunes and download the 1st album |

Lots to talk about on the Kevin Cochran homefront. Recently Kevin began performing with Matt Cordier on drums for a couple of the last shows. Needless to say, it has been a growing process for the sound of KC. From conga's to now a full set of drums, it marks the beginnings of a whole new great sound. Last weeks performance was the first of many great performances yet to come. We hope that you can come out and check out the new production in 2005. We promise you won't be going home disapointed |

HAPPY NEW YEAR KC FANS. Wishing you the best for 2005!!! Well Kevin has been super busy already in 2005 planning the new album, the new market, the new website, the summer tour, and all the while still playing as many shows as possible. We are putting faith behind 2005 as this is the year we expect to leap into the spotlight. And we're counting on you to make it happen for us. We're not talking about anything in particular, but spreading the word and music of K.C. is what you can do. "Hey what's up friends, fans, and supporters. Well, I just struck 25 on the age calculator, and although don't fell any older, hitting 25 makes me think how far I've come and how long I've been doing this. Someone asked me the other day how long I've been singing and playing. I thought about it for awhile and then said 10 years. 10 Years Now!!! That makes me feel old for sure. I mean I wrote Violet 8 years ago. All I can say is that I've come along way and I don't intend on stopping here, not at this moment. I've made a vow to work harder than I have ever worked in my life in 2005 and that means more shows, more recordings, more states covered, and more people involved. To my friends and fans that have stuck through this long I'm hoping for great things this year. My new album is shaping up the way that I've been hoping for and it won't be long now till you can hear. Well, I don't want to go on and on, I just wanted to wish you all the best and tell you thanks for sticking through it this far. I look forward to seeing you all in 2005, and I can't wait to get this year started. See you soon!" ~kevin |

What's
up fellow Kevin Cochran fans. For some that have surfed this
site in the last 2 months or so you've noticed not many updates, but
I can assure all of you that Kevin Cochran is busy as ever in the
Windy City. Right now we're underway with the new page that
will be up hopefully by Christmas. We also are hoping to get
the Kevincochran.com as well. Right now Kevin is in
major album production all the while maintaining a constant schedule
of shows in the rotation. Big news is that Kevin's song
Everywhere has just jumped into the top 100 on www.soundclick.com
. That's right Everywhere has jumped into #77 as of today in
the Acoustic Guitar subcategory. What we'd like all Kevin
Cochran fans to do is get on there and vote for Kevin's song so that
we can break into the top 50. We try to keep up with the Tour
page but honestly the best way to keep up with Kevin's shows is to
join the mailing list and get concert updates through that.
Hope everyone is doing well, as Kevin and management are looking
forward to an awesome winter and spring/summer schedule. New
album, new shows, new music. |

The transition has
been slow but many shows await in August and we only expect
more. Kevin and other local musician John Wasem will be
playing a special show on Sheffield on one of the sidewalks during
the Sheffield Garden Walk this Saturday July 17th. It's a
great time. They'll be providing the entertainment for one of
the many parties occurring down the street. |

Kevin
was in Fat-Man Studios last weekend visiting some friends.
After being pressured to do a song he decided to record a cover song
of one his influences David Gray. So Kevin laid down David
Gray's "This Year's Love" in the studio last
weekend. We decided to put it up on the site for the listening
audience. Click
Here or go to the media page and download it
there. ENJOY!!! |

News on the
homefront... There are a bunch of shows coming up in the next couple
of weeks. We're hitting the Northern Midwest for a few
stopovers. We're adding a bunch more dates in the next couple
of months so keep checking for updates. The album is coming
along slowly but surely. Fingers crossed we're hoping for a
August release date. We're also playing a charity event for a
friend's fiesta this coming Saturday. So after everyone runs
the Mini-Marathon, they come over and get crunk and celebrate.
Email Mark or Kevin for details on that one. Maybe get
yourself a little VIP pass. Keep checking back, hope to
see a bunch of you in the next couple weeks. |

the website, but we're back up and running. Sorry if we let
anyone down by being shut off for 11 days. So welcome
back. News on the homefront... Summer is approaching and so
are some major events that are planned for the Kevin Cochran
project. After many stops in some new cities we're back home
and anxiously waiting for the summer. We'll be hitting some
spots in the middle of May that hopefully a bunch of you can hit if
possible. We also hope to hit B-town for some outdoor events
this summer as well. There are a couple of summer conventions
and festivals that we're attending. The CD should be done by
July. Lots to talk about so keep checking for updates. Check
out the calendar for some new events in the making! |

So
after a brief stint of time off from playing live and working
strictly on recording, Kevin is getting ready to hit the road
in promotion mode for the upcoming album release in July 2004.
When we set up the April tour we were hoping to get as far west as
San Fran but we got stuck in the Colorado Mountains and kind of got
limited to the Midwest. But don't get your hopes down
westerners we hope to be out there by the end of the summer.
We'll be posting the dates of the Midwest May Tour here in the next
couple of weeks. Some cities we'll be nailing --- St. Louis,
Columbia, Des Moines, Iowa City, St. Paul, Madison, Chicago, Ann
Arbor, and Nashville. Maybe even dipping to the extreme south,
Dallas and stopping through the ATL. Keeping you
informed, come back for updates. |

Well, things are
going pretty well for January. Tour is still in the
planning stages for Mid-March. The album is still under
production right now. Kevin put around 60 hours in the studio
in December and now continues in January. The album is shaping
up nicely, and tentatively looks like we'll be ready to release it
by March 1, but by production standards you never can tell.
We'll be up in the Chicago area February 7th at Joes, possibly
handing out some new singles from Kevin's new album. Hope to
see some people there! |

Wow, what a crazy
month November was. Kevin was packed full of shows and did a
major amount of traveling. A relief to know that we're free
for the next couple of months. There will be a few shows here
and there, but for the most part album preparation is underway for
the next album. St. Louis is the next journey stop for K.C. to
record the newest and greatest production yet. Check back here
for new updates and the possibility for a few shows that might sneak
in there. |
