Wow, am I hungover today... Yeah, last night took a brief stint of leisure and participated at the Cubs vs. Mets game. A brief synopis:
6:00 - Arrival in Wrigleyville off the Red line @ Addison
6:05 - Arrival in Right Field Bleachers and Begin Consumption of Old Style
6:50 - National anthem and 2 Old Styles down
7:05 - Gametime
7:15- End of first Score 0-0 ... 3 Beers deep.
8:00- Corey Patterson hits HR #1 Cubs 2-0 after 4 innings... Kevin 5 Beers deep and fading
9:20 - CoPat hits HR # 2 Maddux goes 7 Innings 10 K's Cubs win 7-0... Kevin lost his beer count
The Weather was brilliant last night. 75 and Sunny out there in the bleachers. What a perfect day to spend at Wrigley field.... We proceeded to go to the Dark Horse Tavern after the game and drank buckets of Old Styles and Shots of Jagermeister. That was a brilliant plan, let me tell you. Feeling all that this morning... All in all a good time, perfect weather, and the cubs got a W. You can't really ask for anything more! Except maybe some Excederine, a gallon of water, and some coffee.
Let me tell you how fun Chicago is. Yesterday it was 83 Degrees and sunny and today it is 52 and Storming. What a way to wake up hungover. Swell!
